ENTRADA DE FRECUENCIA DIRECTA

Encienda el G3. Use este método cuando la frecuencia deseada de una emisora de radio sea conocida. Las frecuencias AM, LW, SW y aérea vienen en kilohercios (KHz), p.ej 810 KHz ó 9475 KHz; las frecuencias FM vienen en megahercios (MHz), p.ej 102,9 MHz, no haciendo caso del punto decimal. OBSÉRVESE: las frecuencias aéreas vienen en Kilohercios (120100 KHz), pero son normalmente ofrecidas en Megahercios (120,1 MHz).

1.Use los botones numéricos para introducir la frecuencia.

2.En un espacio de 3 segundos, apriete el botón de AM si se encuentra en una frecuencia de AM, LW o SW, o el botón de FM para frecuencias de FM y aérea.

SINTONIZACIÓN DE AUTOBÚSQUEDA

Con el G3 encendido, la sintonización de autobúsqueda comienza

presionando el botón de frecuencia de arriba o de abajo durante aproximadamente 2 segundos. El G3 tiene 3 modos autobúsqueda seleccionables: STOP, ATS o DELAY-5. El modo por defecto programado de fábrica es el de STOP. Estos modos aparecen descritos abajo. Al realizar una búsqueda automática de emisoras en onda corta, coloque el interruptor de amplitud de banda en la posición de WIDE. La búsqueda automática no es recomendada para señales de SSB.

STOP: La autobúsqueda se para al encontrar la siguiente emisora.

DELAY-5:La autobúsqueda se para durante 5 segundos en cada emisora encontrada, y luego prosigue.

ATS: (Almacenaje de Sintonización Automática): La autobúsqueda almacena automáticamente las emisoras locales en FM de señal más fuerte en una serie de memorias que comienzan con la página 99 y cuentan hacia abajo hasta que todas queden almacenadas, p.ej 98, 97, 96, etc. Sintonice la frecuencia FM y realice una autobúsqueda. Después de la búsqueda

en ATS, seleccione su memoria con los botones de y la emisora con los botones de F1-7. Si existen demasiadas memorias llenas de estático, intente la búsqueda de nuevo mediante el interruptor DX/LOCAL en posición de LOCAL (abajo).

SINTONIZACIÓN DE AUTOBÚSQUEDA continuado

Para seleccionar un modo de autobúsqueda:

1.Con la radio apagada, mantenga pulsado el botón de F6 durante aproximadamente 2 segundos, y suéltelo. Observará que el último modo elegido parpadeará en pantalla.

2.Mientras parpadea el modo, realice una serie de toques rápidos y cortos del botón de F6 para seleccionar modos alternos.

3.Presione el botón de PAGE/TIME.

ALMACENAJE DE EMISORAS EN LA MEMORIA

El G3 tiene 700 memorias (también llamadas preselecciones), distribuidas en 100 páginas, y cada página soporta 7 memorias. Los botones F1-7 representan posiciones de memoria.

Observará que al almacenar en una posición de memoria ya ocupada, sus contenidos serán sustituidos por los de su nueva entrada.

1.Encienda el G3.

2.Sintonice la emisora deseada.

3.Presione el botón de PAGE/TIME para colocar el G3 en modo de PAGE/ MEMO (PAGE/MEMO se encuentra en la parte izquierda de la pantalla).

4.Seleccione la página de memoria deseada mediante los botones de .

5.Almacene la frecuencia presionando uno de botones F1-7 durante aproximadamente 2 segundos. Observará que una caja intermitente aparecerá en torno a la posición de memoria seleccionada.

6.Cuando termine de almacenar emisoras, presione el botón de PAGE/TIME para almacenar sus emisoras y salga del modo de MEMO.

ACCESO A MEMORIAS ALMACENADAS

1.Encienda el G3 y entre en modo de PAGE/MEMO presionando el botón de PAGE/TIME, lo cual hará que PAGE/MEMO aparezca en pantalla.

2.Seleccione la página de memoria deseada mediante los botones de .

3.Seleccione la memoria deseada presionando botones F1-7.
