Serial Communications

This chapter describes the serial communications feature of the Powerware 9315 UPS. Two serial communications ports on the UPS let you connect equipment to view system event information.

The following sections describe the serial communications feature, and provide information about connecting hardware, setting up the ports, changing settings, and changing modes.
