Basic Operation

Zoom Copies

It is possible to change the zoom ratio in order to make copies of an enlarged or reduced size. The following modes are available for selecting the desired zoom ratio.

Mode

Description

 

 

Standard Zoom

Copies can be made at one of the fixed zoom ratios.

 

The following ratios are registered in the machine:

 

200 %, 141 % (A5 Æ A4), 129 % (Statement Æ Letter),

 

115 % (B5 Æ A4), 100 % (default setting), 90 % (Folio

ÆA4), 86 % (A4 Æ B5), 78 % (Legal Æ Letter), 70 % (A4 Æ A5), 64 % (Letter Æ Statement), and 50 %.

Variable Zoom

The zoom ratio can be set to any 1 % increment

 

between 50 % and 200 %, as desired and shown

 

below.

Standard Zoom

1 Press Copy.

Press left Select.

Press S or T to select Standard Zoom.

Press Enter.

Press S or T to select the desired zoom ratio.

Press Enter. The message display shows Completed and returns to the basic screen. The new zoom ratio is registered.

To start copying, place the original on the platen and press Start.
