You can print all of the Directory at once.

Hold down the Program key and press Greeting .

Press to scroll down. The last five options allow you to print all the items of a particular type (see “The Printer Button” on page 46).

Important!

Are you sure you want to clear the Directory?

Clearing the Directory will permanently delete ALL the telephone numbers that you have saved into the Directory. To be safe, print out the entire Directory first (see “The Printer Button” on page 46).

EDITING A NUMBER

1.Hold down the Program key and press Directory .

TYPE NAME, OR UP/DOWN TO SEARCH is displayed.

2.Type the name for the number you want to edit. If you do not remember what name is used for the number, you can use the keys to look through the list of numbers in the Directory.

3.Press Enter . The number is displayed.

4.Use the following keys while editing numbers:

The and keys to move through the number without deleting. The Back Space key to erase characters.

5. Press Enter to save the number or press Esc to exit this menu.

PRINTING A DIRECTORY ENTRY

1.Press Dial . TYPE NAME OR NUMBER is displayed.

2.Press to scroll through the list of numbers in the Directory.

3.When the desired entry is displayed, press Printer . The name and number are printed.

CLEARING A DIRECTORY ENTRY

1.Hold down Program and press Directory . TYPE NAME, OR UP/DOWN TO SEARCH is displayed.

2.Type the name for the number you want to clear. If you do not remember what name is used for the number, you can use the keys to look through the list of numbers in the Directory.

3.Press the Clear button. CLEAR JOHN SMITH <YES> is displayed.

4.Press Enter . ** CLEARED ** is displayed.

5. Press Esc to exit the menu without making any changes.

CLEARING THE DIALING DIRECTORY

1.Press the Clear button. CLEAR <CONVERSATION> is displayed.

2.Press the key until CLEAR <DIRECTORY> is displayed.

3.Press Enter . CLEAR DIRECTORY <NO> is displayed.

4.Press the Spacebar to change the option to <YES>.

5.Press Enter . ** DIRECTORY CLEARED ** is displayed.
