BASIC

SWhen you make a copy on a non-standard size of paper, set the paper on the manual feed table.

SPaper of about the thickness of 51 to 134 g/m2, 14 lb to 36 lb is suitable for this copier.

Do not use the following paper. Otherwise, a paper jam might occur.

Bent, folded, or creased paper

Torn paper

Perforated paper

Non-smooth paper

Slippery paper

Thin paper that has low stiffness

Do not make a copy on paper with any kind of coating, such as thermosen- sitive paper, art paper, aluminum foil, and carbon paper. Otherwise, a fault might occur.

SIf you make a copy on edged paper, the copy might be creased or a part of the image might not be copied.

SIf you make a copy on rough paper, the copy image might be blurred.

SWhen you make a copy on translucent paper, the copy might be waved.

SWhen you make copies on film, take out the copies delivered to the copy guide one sheet at a time and place them on a flat surface.
