8.1 Recording
Various recording modes are available for saving recordings to the hard drive.
1. Instant recording
Use this type of recording to record a currently running pro- gramme immediately, with just one press of the key.
2. Timer-controlled recording
In the case of this function, your digital receiver will be swit- ched on and off for the recording, so this can be recorded in your absence. To do this, you can either programme the timer manually, or automatically using the SFI function.
3. Timeshift recording
The timeshift recording mode makes it possible to provide timeshift telvision viewing. While the programme is still being broadcast, you can already view the recording, shifted in time.
Please note!
To utilise all the recording facilities of your receiver, you should ensure it is connected via two independent antenna connections. This allows you to use the following combina- tions of recording and playback :
Record one programme, and at the same time view another programme being broadcast, or a hard drive recording
Record two programmes simultaneously, even if these are located in different ranges of the transmission band
Record two different programmes simultaneously, even if these are located in different ranges of the transmission band, plus play back and view an exi- sting hard drive recording
If only one antenna connection is available for connec- tion to the reciever, only a limited range of recording and playback options is available.
Record one programme, and at the same time view another programme in the same range of the same reception band, or view a hard drive recording.
Record two programmes on the same reception band simultaneously.
Record two different programmes on the same reception band simultaneously, and view an exi- sting hard drive recording
