Edit Channels / Channel Labels

Edit Channels

Use this option to add or delete channels from the channel lineup.

1.Press MENU on the Installer Remote, and use the arrow navigation keys to select/highlight the CHANNEL menu option. Then, press ENTER.

2.Use the Up/Down arrows to select Channel Edit, and then press ENTER.

3.In the Edit Channel pop-up window, active channels are displayed in black, while (manually) deleted channels are displayed in blue. Submenu options are displayed at the bottom of the pop-up window.

Use the arrow keys to select the Digital or Analog tab, and then select the channel to edit (add or delete).

4.Press the blue (Add/Delete) button on the Installer Remote to add or delete the selected channel.

5.Repeat steps 3 and 4 to edit additional channels.

6.When you are done editing channels, press MENU or ENTER to return to TV viewing, or press RETURN to return to the Channel Menu.

Channel Labels

Channel labels (AMC, ESPN, HBO, etc.) help users identify the channel or network being viewed. The Channel Label menu option provides a series of preset labels for the more common networks. Use any of these to label the channels in the STB’s memory.

1.Press MENU on the Installer Remote, and use the arrow navigation keys to select/highlight the CHANNEL menu option. Then, press ENTER.

2.Use the Up/Down arrows to select Channel Label, and then press ENTER.

3.In the Channel Label pop-up window, use the Left/Right arrows to select a channel in the Channel field. Then, use the Up/Down arrows to highlight the Logo field.

4.In the Logo field, use the Left/Right arrows to select the appropriate logo. Each logo is previewed in the space just below the Logo field.

5.Repeat steps 3 and 4 to assign labels for additional channels.

6.When you are done adding labels, select Close and press ENTER to close the pop-up window and return to the Channel Menu.

7.Press MENU to return to TV viewing, or press RETURN to return to the previous menu level.
