PARABÉNS

Acabou de adquirir um Baby Monitor sem fios de elevado desempenho que lhe permite ouvir o seu bebé em qualquer parte da casa. Leia cuidadosamente este manual antes de utilizar o monitor e guarde- o para futura referência.

IMPORTANTE!

Este Baby Monitor é um equipamento auxiliar. Não é um substituto da supervisão responsável e

adequada dos adultos e não deve ser utilizado como tal.

Certifique-se de que a unidade do bebé e o cabo do adaptador estão sempre fora do alcance do bebé

(pelo menos 1 m). Nunca coloque a unidade do bebé dentro do parque ou da cama do bebé!

As antenas das unidades do bebé e dos pais são fixas. Não tente abrir as antenas.

Nunca cubra a unidade de bebé (com uma toalha, cobertor, etc.)

PREPARAR AS UNIDADES PARA UTILIZAÇÃO

Unidade do bebé

Ligue o adaptador de corrente CA (A–9) a uma tomada de corrente CA e, em seguida, ligue o cabo à tomada de corrente CC (A–5) da unidade do bebé.

Se quiser utilizar pilhas, remova a tampa do compartimento de pilhas (A–8) com uma chave de parafusos. Introduza quatro pilhas AA 1,5V (não incluídas; recomendamos pilhas alcalinas Philips não recarregáveis) de acordo com a configuração + e – no interior do compartimento de pilhas. Volte a colocar a tampa e aparafuse o parafuso.

A unidade do bebé funciona sem fios até 30 horas com pilhas novas. O indicador POWER vermelho (A-1) pisca quando a carga das pilhas estiver fraca. Se isto acontecer, instale pilhas novas.

Nota: Para desligar a unidade do bebé, defina o interruptor de modo (A–6) para OFF.

Unidade dos pais

A unidade dos pais utiliza pilhas recarregáveis. Estas já estão instaladas, mas primeiro têm de ser carregadas pelo menos 14 horas antes de utilizar a unidade fora da base de carga:

•Ligue o adaptador de corrente CA (B–10) a uma tomada de corrente CA e, em seguida, ligue o cabo à tomada de corrente CC (B–9) da base de carga (B–5).

•Coloque a unidade dos pais na base de carga. O indicador de carga vermelho (B–11) acende-se.

Pode utilizar a unidade dos pais, mas deve deixá-la na base de carga até as pilhas estarem completamente carregadas (pelo menos 14 horas). Quando as pilhas estiverem carregadas, remova a unidade dos pais da base de carga e utilize a unidade sem fios até 12 horas.

Quando o indicador POWER vermelho (B–1) na unidade dos pais pisca, é porque a carga das pilhas está baixa. Coloque a unidade dos pais na base de carga para recarregar as pilhas.

Se as pilhas recarregáveis começarem a perder a sua eficácia, substitua-as por quatro pilhas novas (1,2V,

AANiMH). Remova a tampa do compartimento de pilhas (B–6) com uma chave de parafusos e introduza as pilhas de acordo com a configuração + e – no interior do compartimento de pilhas. Volte a colocar a tampa e aparafuse o parafuso. Utilize apenas pilhas recarregáveis 1,2V, AA NiMH!
