Using the Handlebars

To maintain your balance on the C846i upright cycle, always grasp a handlebar when you step on or off the cycle, and when you use the keypad. On the recumbent cycle, use the handlebar to maintain your comfort.

To learn more about the touch-sensitive handlebar grips, refer to Heart Rate Features.

Storing Workout Statistics

Note: When the optional power adapter is attached and the cycle is connected to a computer, five zeros appear on the display and remain until a user ID is entered.

To access the cycle workout options, take the following steps:

1.As the leftmost zero blinks, use the number keypad to specify your 5-digit user ID. If you make a mistake, use the ▼ arrow key to move back and reenter the correct number.

Note: To bypass the user ID entry, press ENTER or QUICKSTART while all five zeros appear in the user ID field. No workout statistics are added to your file.

Many clubs connect the cycle to a computer so you can easily retrieve your workout statistics and determine how well you are meeting your fitness goals. If you are interested in maintaining workout statistic information, ask the club personnel to create a user account and a user ID for you.

A user ID entry is required to store your workout statistics. If the
