Installation of exhaust venting
General notes
The dryer must only run if the moist exhaust air from the drying process is conducted outside by an installed exhaust duct vent.
Disconnect the dryer from the power supply during installation of the exhaust duct.
The exhaust connection (e.g. a wall pipe) must be installed, so that the moist exhaust air cannot get drawn back into the installation room and cause constructional damage or unreasonable disturbance.
The room air, which is taken in when the dryer is in operation, is blown out via the exhaust vent. It is important, particularly if the room is small, to ensure adequate ventilation and air supply opening a window or installing unlockable ventilation openings in the wall., for example, will allow more air to enter the room. Otherwise drying times and energy consumption may increase.
Danger of suffocation by suction of exhaust fumes.
