WAARSCHUWING

Invacare adviseert dat twee (2) verzorgers aanwezig zijn bij ALLE voorbereidingen voor het tillen, en het overbrengen van en naar.

HET TILLEN VAN DE PATIËNT (FIGUUR 1)

1.Geef de patiënt de volgende aanwijzingen:

A.Houd de handgrepen aan beide zijden van de stalift goed vast.

B.Leun vervolgens tegen de sta- of transportsling.

WAARSCHUWING

STASLINGS - Alvorens een patiënt op te tillen dient u ervoor te zorgen dat de onderste rand van de stasling laag om de rug van de patiënt zit en dat diens armen zich buiten de sling bevinden.

TRANSPORTSLINGS - Alvorens een patiënt op te tillen dient u ervoor te zorgen dat de onderste randvandetransportslingonderdewervelkolom van de patiënt zit en dat diens armen zich buiten de sling bevinden.

Invacare adviseert dat de achterste zwenkwielen NIET worden vastgezet tijdens het tillen of overbrengen van een patiënt. Hierdoor zou de stalift kunnen kantelen hetgeen gevaarlijk is voor de patiënt en de verzorgers. Invacare adviseert dat de achterste zwenkwieltjes NIET WORDEN VASTGEZET gedurende het tillen en overbrengen zodat de stalift zichzelf kan stabiliseren wanneer de patiënt wordt opgetild en overgebracht naar een stoel, bed of ander stilstaand voorwerp.

De poten van het onderstel MOETEN MAXIMAAL GESPREID ZIJN en de hendel moet VASTGEZET worden voor maximale stabiliteit en veiligheid. Indien de patiënt in een transportsling zit en door een nauwe doorgang vervoert moet worden, kunt u de poten van het onderstel sluiten MAAR ALLEEN ZOLANG DIT NODIG IS OM DE DOORGANG TE PASSEREN. Wanneer de stalift de doorgang gepasseerd is dienen de poten weer in de MAXIMALE SPREIDSTAND gezet en de hendel ONMIDDELLIJK VASTGEZET te worden.

2.Zorg ervoor dat:

A.De knieën van de patiënt goed tegen de kniesteunen rusten.

B.De voeten van de patiënt correct op de voetensteun geplaatst zijn, zoals staat aangegeven in STAP 2B van FIGUUR 1.

C.De onderste rand van de:

Stasling rond het laagste gedeelte van de rug zit. Transportsling onder de wervelkolom van de patiënt zit.

D.De armen van de patiënt zich buiten de sta- of transportsling bevinden.

E.De achterste zwenkwieltjes niet vastzitten.

F.De poten van het onderstel in de maximale spreidstand staan en dat de hendel op de juiste plaats vast zit..

WAARSCHUWING

Wanneer de patiënt zich enkele centimeters boven het oppervlak bevindt waarvan hij overgebracht wordt, en voordat hij wordt overgebracht, dient er nogmaals gecontroleerd te worden of de sling correct vast zit aan de bevestigingspunten van de stalift. Indien de sling niet correct vast zit, dient u de patiënt terug te laten zakken op het rustvlak en de problemen te corrigeren.

Aanpassing die nodig zijn voor het gemak en de veiligheid van de patiënt dienen gemaakt te worden voordat de patiënt verplaatst wordt.

Invacare sta- en transportslings zijn specifiaal ontworpen voor gebruik met de Invacare Stalift. Slings en accessoires die ontworpen zijn door andere fabrikanten, of andere Invacare slings dienen niet te worden gebruikt als onderdeel van het Invacare Staliftsysteem. Gebruik van deze produkten is verboden en maakt de garantie op de Invacare stalift ongeldig. Gebruik alleen de eigenlijke Invacare sta- en transportslings en liftaccessoires om de veiligheid van de patiënt en de bruikbaarheid van het produkt te handhaven.

Wanneer de patiënt wordt overgebracht vanuit een rolstoel dienen de wielen van de rolstoel vastgezet te worden voordat de patiënt opgetild wordt.

3.Overbrengen vanuit een rolstoel - zet de wielen van de rolstoel vast.

4.Druk op de OP (Ï) knop om de patiënt op te tillen van het oppervlak waarvan hij overgebracht moet worden (bed, rolstoel of postoel). De patiënt moet worden opgetild tot hij net vrij is van het oppervlak waarop hij rustte en zijn gewicht dient volledig door de stalift gedragen te worden.

OPMERKING: Het lagere zwaartepunt zorgt voor een grotere stabiliteit zodat de patiënt zich veiliger voelt en de stalift gemakkelijker te verplaatsen is.
