MOVER AL PACIENTE (FIGURA 2)

AVISO

ESLINGA VERTICAL - NO utilizar el eslinga verti- cal en combinación con el Elevador Vertical como instrumento para el desplazamiento de pacientes. Está concebido para la transferencia de un individuo de una posición a otra (como por ejemplo de una cama a una silla de ruedas). El desplazar a un paciente empleando el eslinga vertical en combinación con el elevador verti- cal, SEA CUAL FUERE LA DISTANCIA, NO es recomendado.

Durante las transferencias, con el paciente suspendido en la eslinga colocada en el elevador, NO rodar el elevador sobre superficies tales como alfombras, moquetas no debidamente fijadas, marcos de puertas o cualquier superficie no lisa u obstáculo que pueda producir un desequilibrio en el elevador y causar que éste vuelque. Emplee el manillar situado en el mástil en TODO momento para empujar o tirar del elevador vertical.

1.Usando el manillar retire el Elevador Vertical de la superficie.

AVISO

Las patas de la base del Elevador Vertical DEBEN estar en posición de APERTURA MÁXIMA, y la palanca elevadora ENCAJADA en posición para proporcionar la máxima estabilidad y seguridad. Si el paciente está en una eslinga de transporte y es necesario desplazarse por un paso estrecho, cierre las patas del Elevador Vertical ÚNICAMENTE PARA ATRAVESAR DICHO PASO. Una vez el Elevador Vertical ha atravesado dicho paso, vuelva a colocar las patas de la base en la posición de APERTURA MÁXIMA y encaje la palanca elevadora INMEDIATAMENTE.

2.LENTAMENTEtrasladaralpacientealasuperficiedeseada.

3.Descender al paciente sobre la superficie deseada. ConsultarlasecciónTRANSFERENCIAAdeestemanual.
