Section 10 - Options includes the following:

Installing/Cleaning the Telescoping I.V. Rod/O2 Holders

Installing the Solid Folding Seat

Installing the Crutch and Cane Carrier

Installing the Amputee Bracket - Super Hemi Models Only

Installing the Amputee Bracket - All Models Except Super Hemi

WARNING

After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure all attach- ing hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may occur.

NOTE: The options in this section refer to NON-RECLINER MODELS ONLY, refer to SECTION 9 for 9000XT Recliner options.

INSTALLING/CLEANING THE TELESCOPING I.V. ROD/ O2 HOLDERS (FIGURE 1)

INSTALLING

WARNING

The telescoping I.V. rod/O2 holder

MUST be checked weekly to ensure it is tightly secured to the wheelchair frame. If there is any looseness what- soever, tighten the attachment hardware securely BEFORE using.

TELESCOPING I.V. ROD HOLDER ONLY - Make sure the telescoping I.V. rod is tightly locked BEFORE placing I.V. medication on the rod.

The telescoping I.V. rod is designed to support I.V. medication only. DO NOT use it to support objects other than I.V. medication.

1.Slide telescoping I.V. rod/O2 holder over the step tube of the wheelchair.

NOTE: Mounting bracket of telescoping I.V. rod/ O2 holder should be positioned between the two

(2) axle mounting positions on wheelchair frame.

2.Secure telescoping I.V. rod/O2 holder to the wheelchair frame with hex screw, spacer and locknut.

3.TELESCOPING I.V. ROD HOLDER ONLY - Secure the top of the telescoping I.V. rod holder to the wheelchair frame with a tie wrap.
