4610SW IP Telephone Options

Setting Visual Alerting

When this option is set to No (the default), ringing is the only notification of an incoming call. When set to Yes, your phone rings and your voice message indicator light flashes to alert you to an incoming call.

1.To change this option, press the corresponding Line/Feature button.

2.Press the Line/Feature button for the next setting you want to change or save this setting by pressing the Save softkey. (To restore the previous setting without changing it, press the Cancel softkey.)

Upon saving or cancelling, the first Options Main screen displays.

Personal Ringing Options

Your 4610SW IP Telephone has eight ringing pattern options. You can hear the patterns and select the one you prefer using the Personal Ringing option.

1.Select Personal Ringing from the fourth Options Main screen. The Personal Ringing screen #1 displays the first four ring patterns.

2.To hear any of the first four ring patterns, press the Line/Feature button to the left or right of any numbered pattern. To hear additional ring patterns, proceed to Step 3.

The Current Pattern number changes to the selected pattern, which rings once.

3.To display the second Personal Ringing screen and hear the remaining four ring patterns, use the Page Right or Page Left Indicator buttons to display the second screen. To hear any of these ring patterns, press the Line/Feature button to the left or right of any numbered pattern.

The Current Pattern number changes to the selected pattern, which rings once.

4.Repeat Step 1 or Step 2 until you hear your preferred ring pattern.

5.Save the new ring pattern by pressing the Save softkey. To restore the previous setting without making a change, press the Cancel softkey.

The fourth Options Main screen displays.

Note:

Going off-hook, receiving a call, or losing power during ring pattern selection interrupts the process, and you must start over from Step 1.

Adjust the ringer volume using the Volume Control buttons, covered in 4610SW IP Telephone Button/Feature Descriptions.
