When you are talking with one correspondent and another cor- respondent is on hold.

- Press the programmed key associated with the blinking icon.

The icon associated with the key of the correspondent in conversation will be steadily illuminated and the display will show his/her identity.

The icon associated with the key of the correspondent on hold flashes.

Note: a multikey telephone set is perceived as free as long as there is at least one position available, i.e. at least one programmable key free.

The multiline function*

A telephone set used in multiline mode will have several directory numbers *. Each directory number will be assigned to a programmable key.

This function is mainly used for programming the following on one telephone set:

-one so-called switchboard number, which you can make known to everyone;

-one so-called private number that you only make known to certain people;

it can also be an emergency number. Examples:
