METHOD 2: Press p to enter the overdial select/entry mode and follow the selection mode rules to call up a stored number from the phone list or to directly enter the overdial digits. Press PTT to send the overdial sequence once. If the number needs to be transmitted again it must be selected or entered again (this prevents unwanted numbers from being sent the next time the PTT button is pressed during the call).

This overdial select/entry mode remains active until the call

is dropped, cleared, or m is pressed. The overdial select/entry mode can be re-entered if the call is still active

by pressing p.

Programmable Entries

Individual call ID numbers, telephone numbers and other number sequences for overdialing are stored in the special call lists when programming the radio. The first ten entry locations of these lists can be changed by the radio operator. The keypad is used when adding, changing and storing numbers in these entry locations.

Use the following procedure to store a number in one of the first ten entries of a special call list:

1.Press ior pto enter the individual call list or the phone call list. The selection mode rules apply.

2.Scroll through the list using the RAMP control ,or . until one of the first ten entries is reached. NO ENTRY is displayed if the location is empty.

3.Enter the desired number. If necessary, a pause can be entered by pressing and holding 0-9, (*), or (#) until an underscore appears in the display. The individual call list entries will accept up to 5 digits. The phone call list entries accept a combination of up to 31 digits and pauses.

4.Press and hold muntil the display changes indicating that the number has been stored.

5.Repeat the steps above if the number stored in an entry location needs to be changed.
