STATIC SCR TEST

WARNING

Service and repair should be performed only by Lincoln Electric factory trained personnel. TEST DESCRIPTION

The Static SCR Test is a quick check to determine if an SCR is shorted or “leaky”. See machine waveform section for normal and abnormal SCR waveforms.

MATERIALS NEEDED

Analog ohmeter Volt/Ohm Meter (Multimeter)

DC-1000 Wiring Diagrams (See Electrical Diagram Section of Manual).
