DH44 4 Source, 4 Zone Digital Audio Router
Connections between a DH44 chassis and DH46X Digital Audio Routers involve Cat-5 patch cables routed between the units. All cables are included with the DH46X. Connections are required for:
•EXPANSION OUT/EXPANSION IN
•SOURCE LOOP OUT/SOURCE LOOP IN
EXPANSION OUT/EXPANSION IN
Simply connect a Cat-5 patch cable from the DH44’s EXPANSION OUT port to the fi rst DH46X’s EXPANSION IN port. For multiple DH46X units, connect a Cat-5 patch cable from the fi rst DH46X’s EXPANSION OUT port to the next DH46X’s EXPANSION IN port, and so on. See Figure 3-18for details.
SOURCE LOOP OUT/SOURCE LOOP IN
Connect a Cat-5 patch cable from each SOURCE LOOP OUT of the DH44 to each corresponding SOURCE LOOP IN on the fi rst DH46X. For multiple DH46X units, connect a Cat-5 patch cable from each SOURCE LOOP OUT of the fi rst DH46X to each corresponding SOURCE LOOP IN on the next DH46X and so on. See Figure 3-19for details.
