Des plaques adhésives appliquées sur certains points de la machine indiquent :

Lors de la lecture de ce manuel, l'opérateur doit bien comprendre le sens des symboles illustrés sur les plaques. Ne pas couvrir les plaques et les remplacer immédiatement en cas d'endommagement.

CONTROLE / PREPARATION DES BATTERIES SUR UNE MACHINE NEUVE

La machine requiert deux batteries au plomb de 12 V, branchées selon le schéma (44).

La machine peut être livrée selon une des confi gurations suivantes :

a)Batteries installées dans la machine et prêtes à l'utilisation

b)Batteries installées dans la machine, mais sèches, c'est-à-dire sans électrolyte

c)Sans batteries

Selon la confi guration, procéder comme suit.

a)Batteries installées dans la machine et prêtes à l'utilisation

1.Ouvrir le coffre (7) de la machine et vérifi er que les batteries sont branchées au dynamoteur à l'aide des bornes.

2.Fermer le coffre (7).

3.La machine est prête à l'utilisation.

Si, lors du démarrage du moteur à essence, les batteries sont déchargées, il est nécessaire de les charger au moyen d'un chargeur de batterie externe.

b)Batteries installées dans la machine, mais sèches, c'est-à-dire sans électrolyte

1.Ouvrir le coffre (7) de la machine.

2.Enlever tous les bouchons (45) des batteries.

ATTENTION !

L'acide sulfurique est hautement corrosif, donc le manipuler avec précaution. En cas de contact avec les yeux ou la peau, laver et rincer abondamment à l’eau et consulter un médecin.

Les batteries doivent être remplies dans un endroit bien aéré. Porter des gants de protection.

3.Remplir les éléments des batteries avec acide sulfurique pour batteries (densité de 1,27 à 1,29 kg à 25°C) selon les instructions spécifi ées dans le manuel d’emploi des batteries.

La quantité correcte de solution acide à insérer est indiquée dans le manuel d’emploi des batteries.

4.Laisser reposer les batteries et remplir les éléments avec solution d’acide sulfurique, selon les instructions indiquées dans le manuel d’emploi des batteries.

5.Charger les batteries avec un chargeur de batterie externe.

c)Sans batteries

1.Acheter des batteries adéquates [voir le chapitre Caractéristiques techniques et le schéma (44)]. S’adresser aux revendeurs de batteries qualifi és pour le choix et l’installation.

2.Installer les batteries.

3.Charger les batteries avec un chargeur de batterie externe.
