MAIN UNIT BATTERY REMOVAL (FOR RECYCLING)

WARNING: Exercise care in handling batteries in order not to short the battery with conducting materials such as rings, bracelets and keys. The battery or conductor may overheat and cause burns.

Before attempting to disassemble the main body of the Storm Station, turn it on and leave it on until the sound goes completely off to ensure a complete discharge of the main battery.

Using a phillips screwdriver, remove the ten screws from the back housing cover shown in figure H. Lift the battery out and pull off the terminal clips (figure I). See “Service Information” for battery replacement.

MAINTENANCE

Use only mild soap and damp cloth to clean the unit. Never let any liquid get inside the unit; never immerse any part of the unit into a liquid.

IMPORTANT: To assure product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, repairs, maintenance and adjustment (other than those listed in this manual) should be performed by authorized service centers or other qualified service organizations, always using identical replacement parts.
