Converting to Free-Arm Style

Free-Arm sewing is convenient for sewing tubular and hard-to- reach areas on garments. To change your machine to the free-arm style, lift up on the extension table and pull it out.

1Lift the bottom of the extension table up toward you.

2 Pull the extension table out to remove it.

La couture à bras libre s’impose pour des coutures tubulaires ou pour des endroits difficiles à atteindre sur des vêtements. Pour ob- tenir la configuration à bras libre, il suffit de soulever et de retirer la table d’extension.

1Soulever le bas de la table d’extension vers soi.

2Tirer la table d’extension vers l’extérieur pour l’enlever.

Conversión en modalidad de brazo libre

La costura con brazo libre es práctica para coser en redondo y en partes del tejido de dificil acceso. Para transformar su máquina en esa modalidad, sólo hace falta levantar el soporte de los accesorios y sa- carlo tirando de él.

1Levante la parte inferior del soporte de accesorios hacia usted.

Uso do braço livre

O uso do Braço Livre é recomendado para costuras tubulares e áreas de difícil acesso como mangas, cavas, etc. Usa-se também para aplicação ou costuras em geral nas roupas prontas, já fechadas. Para transformar sua máquina em Braço Livre, basta retirar a base removível.

2Deslize a base removível para a esquerda e retire-a.

Steadying the Machine

When the sewing machine is placed on an uneven surface, turn the rubber cushion on the front right-hand side of the base plate to adjust its height until the sewing machine is stable.

Lorsque la machine à coudre est installée sur une surface inégale, tourner le coussin en caoutchouc sur le côté avant droit de la pla- que de base pour régler sa hauteur jusqu’à ce que la machine soit stable.
