Mocht de waterkoker tijdens het gebruik volledig droog koken, dan moet u hem 10 minuten laten afkoelen voordat u er weer koud water in doet. Zodra de koker afgekoeld is vindt een automatische reset van de beveiligingsschakelaar plaats.

Voordat u de waterkoker voor de eerste keer gebruikt, moet u hem reinigen. Vul de koker compleet (tot aan de MAX markering) met water, breng het water aan de kook en giet het daarna weg.

–Neem de waterkoker van de sokkel (6) af.

–Open het deksel (1), giet water in de koker en sluit het deksel weer.

Giet niet minder dan 0,5 l en niet meer dan 1,5 l (niet boven de MAX-markering) in de waterkoker. Zo verhindert u dat de koker vóór het koken of het bereiken van de ingestelde temperatuur uitgeschakeld wordt.

STROOMVOORZIENING AANSLUITEN

–Nadat u de waterkoker gevuld hebt, zet u hem op de sokkel

(6). Let er op dat de waterkoker goed op de contacteen- heid in de sokkel (6) zit.

–Sluit het apparaat op het stroomnet aan, er is een akoes- tisch signaal te horen. Dit geeft aan dat de koker klaar is voor gebruik.

–Kies nu de door u verkozen watertemperatuur door draaien van de temperatuurkeuzeschakelaar (8) en druk vervolgens op de AAN/UIT-toets (7). Deze knippert tot de gewenste temperatuur bereikt is of het water kookt, daarna gaat het lichtje uit.

–Zodra het water de gewenste temperatuur bereikt heeft, is een akoestisch signaal te horen. U kunt het water nu gebruiken.

Let op: Besluit u tijdens het verhitten een andere tempera- tuur te kiezen, dan stelt u deze eenvoudig met behulp van de temperatuurkeuzeschakelaar (8) in en drukt opnieuw op de AAN/UIT-toets (7).

Let op: Afhankelijk van de soort thee moet de optimale watertemperatuur verschillend worden gekozen. Wordt te heet water op een gevoelige theesoort gegoten, kunnen bittere stoffen vrijkomen. Met de BODUM® waterkoker met temperatuurregelaar kunt u elke willekeurige soort behoed- zaam toebereiden.
