What this message means:
The printer is ready to receive and process print jobs.
What you can do:
Send a job to print.
Ready Hex
What this message means:
The printer is in Hex Trace mode and is ready to receive and process print jobs.
What you can do:
Send a job to print. All data sent to the printer is printed i n hexadecimal and character
representation. Control strings are printed, not executed.
Turn the printer off and then on to exit Hex Trace mode and return to Ready status.
Reattach<device>
What this message means:
The specified device is either not fully connected to the printer or is experien cing a hardware
failure.
What you can do:
Reestablish communication by removing the specified device and reattaching it to the pr inter.
Press Go to clear the message and continue printing without using the device.
In the case of a hardware failure, turn the printer off and back on. If the error recurs, turn the
printer off, remove the specified device, and call for service.
