[Outline] | This command sends the printer status. |
|

[Caution] | This command is valid only for the serial interface. The following table lists the status sent. | ||||||
| In case of DTR/DSR control, only one byte will be sent after confirming that the host is ready | ||||||
| to receive (DSR signal has the Space status). |
|
| ||||
| The status at command processing time is sent after processing the data received prior to this | ||||||
| command. If the printing is under way when the command is being processed, however, the | ||||||
| then status will be sent after completing print feed of that line. Therefore, it may take time to | ||||||
| send the status after receiving the command. |
