6287 ULTRA User’s Manual

Electrical Requirements

The ULTRA requires 117 VAC (60 Hz) at 0.5 ampere, unless optionally configured for 250 VAC at 1.0 ampere usage.

Plug the power cords of the ULTRA and the printer into different electrical circuits. Do not use extension cords with the ULTRA.

Users with any questions regarding the electrical service available at their site should contact a qualified electrician.

Operating Environment

The ULTRA operates best in an environment with a temperature between 50 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit and 15% to 65% relative humidity. Reasonable clearance should be provided for cooling and air circulation.

Unpacking

After removing the ULTRA from the shipping container, inspect the unit for any damage in shipment. Immediately report any damage to the freight carrier. Save the packing container.

Package Contents

Except when ordered otherwise, the 6287 ULTRA includes the ULTRA protocol converter, a power cord, a parallel printer cable and this user’s manual. Should any of these items be missing, contact an AGILE sales representative. Optional alternate host or printer cables may also be included.
