6287 ULTRA User’s Manual

Alternate Host Buffer Dump

This page and the next two pages contain a sample Alternate Host Buffer Dump. This report can be useful for determining the casues of problems that may occur in sending properly formatted documents to the printer from the alternate host, and AGILE technical support may request this report when troubleshooting the ULTRA. The data presented by this report is similar to the information presented in an Auto Buffer Report.

To send this report, set dip switches B6, B7 and B8 in the ON (down) position, then press the RESET button on the ULTRA front panel. Print the offending document from the alternate host. After the document has finished printing, set dip switches B6, B7 and B8 to their former locations, and press the RESET button on the ULTRA front panel.
