Translate Table 6 — ASCII to EBCDIC

Translate Table 6 is used to convert ASCII alternate host data sent to a printer using the EBCDIC character set. It is invoked when an ASCII data stream is detected by the ULTRA and when Option #10 is set to (B)

EBCDIC.

This table is also used to translate and download the configuration report (created in ASCII) to an EBCDIC printer when Option #10 is set either to

(B)EBCDIC or (C) Switchable. If this table is modified by the user, the configuration report sent to the printer will be affected.
