To print an Alternate Host Buffer Dump, set dip switches B6, B7 and B8 in the ON (down) position, then press the RESET button on the ULTRA front panel. Print the offending document from the alternate host, and the printer will output a document similar to the Auto Buffer Report.

After the document has finished printing, set dip switches B6, B7 and B8 to their former locations, and press the RESET button on the ULTRA front panel. A sample Alternate Host Buffer Dump can be found in the Appendix.
