DISPLAY INFORMATION

If you press DISPLAY on the main unit, or press DISPLAY while
pressing SHIFT on the remote control, the display changes as
follows.

WHEN LISTENING TO THE RADIO

1Level indicator
2Band and frequency
(Example: FM 89.00MHz)
3Remaining recordable time on CD-R or CD-RW
(Example: Rem –48:07)
• Displa y ed for 4 seconds, only when a non-finaliz ed CD-
R or CD-R W is loaded in the CD-R/R W pla y er/recorder)
• If a finalized CD-R or CD-R W is loaded, "FINALIZED" is
displayed, and if a conventional CD is loaded, "CD-DA"
(Compact Disc Digital Audio) is displayed.
• When a disc is loaded in the CD-R/RW player/recorder:
The level indicator will be displayed only when 4 seconds have
elapsed after the band and frequency are displayed.

WHEN THE SOUND SOURCE IS CD

In stop mode

1Total number of tracks and total playing time of the disc
(Example: CD 10Tr 58:31)
2Remaining recordable time on CD-R or CD-RW
(Example: Rem –48:07)
• Displa y ed for 4 seconds, only when a non-finaliz ed CD-
R or CD-R W is loaded in the CD-R/R W pla y er/recorder)
• If a finalized CD-R or CD-R W is loaded, "FINALIZED" is
displayed, and if a conventional CD is loaded, "CD-DA"
(Compact Disc Digital Audio) is displayed.

In play mode

• When a non-finalized CD-R or CD-RW is loaded in the CD-R/
RW player/recorder:
The level indicator will be displayed only when 4 seconds have
elapsed after the track number being played and elapsed playing
time are displayed.

performing one track recording or programmed recording.
