OPERATION

To shut down attached mower head, first bring the

tractor to a complete stop. Decrease engine RPM

to idle then disenga ge cu tterhe ad. The m ower hea d

will come to a complete stop within a suitable

amount of time. Do not engage or disengage the

cutterheads at a high RPM unless there is an

emergency situation.

Park the tractor on a level surface, place the

transmission in park or neutral and apply the

parking brake, lower the attached implement to the

ground, shut down the engine, remove the key, and

wait for all motion to come to a complete stop

before exiting the tractor. OPS-U- 0016

12. DISCONNECTING THE MOWER FROM THE TRACTOR

Before disconnecting the mower, the PTO must be disengaged and blade rotation at a complete stop. Move

the mower to a leve l storage location and lower the center section and both wings to th e groun d. If th e mower

will be stored with the wings in the raised position, install both wing transport lock braces. If the mower is not

resting securely on the ground, block the mower up securely before attempting to disconnect it from the

tractor.

Use extreme care to keep feet and hands from under the mower and clear of an y pinch points. OPS-R-0030

Always shut the Tractor completely down, place the transmission in park, and set the

parking brake before you or anyone else attempts to connect or disconnect the Implement
