STEP 3
Apply some Locktite on the Adjusting Nut FIGURE Mnt-R-0059. Install the Adjusting Nut onto the Shaft FIGURE Mnt-R-0060. Tighten the Nut until it is difficult to turn the Shaft FIGURE Mnt-R-0061. While holding Hub, tap each end of the Shaft and check to see if it has loosened. Repeat this process until the Shaft no longer becomes loose in the assembly. Unscrew the Nut a small amount and again tap each end of Shaft while holding the Hub. Repeat this process until a rolling torque of 10 to 12 inch pounds is reached on the Shaft. Install Cotter Pin FIGURE Mnt-R-0062making sure it does no Bend over the end of the shaft.
