DEFECT OBSERVED	POSSIBLE CAUSE	REMEDY
	ELECTRICAL
Spits and lamps do not work	No power supply to unit.	Verify unit has power to it.
		Reset circuit breaker.
Interior light off but spits work	Defective bulb.	Replace bulb.
One spit is not turning	Defective motor.	Contact manufacturer
		for replacement.
One or all spits not turning	Defective switch or	Contact manufacturer
	power supply.	for replacement.
	GAS CIRCUIT
	Gas shutoff is in OFF position.	Check main supply.
		Open closed valve.
None of the burners are lighting	Flexible gas line not connected.
		Reconnect gas line.
	Safety switch is not working.
		Reset safety switch.
One burner heats irregularly	Burner orifices are clogged.	Clean or replace.
or not at all	Inlet pressure too low.	Contact qualified gas specialist.

of Alto-Shaam’s toll-free number. Emergency service access is available seven days a week including holidays.
