If you make any typing errors, press the Delete key to backspace over them.

The computer takes about a minute to initialize the disk. Messages appear on the screen to let you know how the process is going.

When initialization is finished, the disk’s icon appears directly below the Macintosh HD icon (the startup hard disk icon) near the upper-right corner of the desktop.
