9.3A SEQUENCE WITH THE JUPITER-8V

In this example, you will discover the basics of programming a sequence on the Jupiter- 8V. This can be done with the «32-step step sequencer». This will be used together with Galaxy unit and the St Delay effect to create rich and complex rhythmic effects.

Choose the preset «JMB_Sequenced Chords» in the project «JMB». This sound uses VCO2 tuned to a dominant 7th and is very «brilliant». This will be a starting point for our third preset.

￿Open the interface of the «Sequencer» situated in the upper panel of the Jupiter- 8V. Click on the «Sequencer» button.

Open the interface of the «Sequencer»

￿Click on the first list «Output» (situated to right of the sequencer) and choose «VCF Cutoff»

Choose «VCF Cutoff»

￿Increase the value of the intensity of this modulation while turning the knob to the right.

Increase the amount of modulation
