Delete pending messages

Example: Setting owner information on a BlackBerry device

besuseradminclient -username admin -password password -set_owner_info -info "Sam Moser" -u smoser@test.rim.net -b server01

Delete pending messages

The BlackBerry® Enterprise Server for MDS Applications does not support this task.

1.To open the command window for the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server User Administration Tool, on the computer that hosts the tool, on the taskbar, click Start > Programs > BlackBerry Enterprise Server Resource Kit > BlackBerry Enterprise Server User Administration Tool > BlackBerry Enterprise Server User Administration Tool.

2.Type BESUserAdminClient <credentials> -change -purge_pending_messages and the following parameters:

-u <user_name>

-b <instance>

Example

besuseradminclient -username admin -password password -change -purge_pending_messages -u smoser@test.rim.net -b server01

Resend a service book

1.To open the command window for the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server User Administration Tool, on the computer that hosts the tool, on the taskbar, click Start > Programs > BlackBerry Enterprise Server Resource Kit > BlackBerry Enterprise Server User Administration Tool > BlackBerry Enterprise Server User Administration Tool.

2.Type besuseradminclient <credentials> -resend_service_book and the following parameters:

-u <user_name>

-b <instance>

Example
