Closing the connection
The connection can be closed using a terminal program or Web browser.
Closing the connection with a terminal program
–Start the terminal program (see page 25) and enter command i in the main menu to switch to the IP menu.
–In the IP menu, enter command a to deactivate automatic connection.
Closing the connection with a Web browser
–Use the Web browser to connect to the receiver. You see its home page.
–On the CONNECTIONS page, click the X symbol in the title line of the 'Monitor' window to terminate the display of video images on the connected monitor.
Operation with decoder software
The VideoJet 8008 and VideoJet 8004 video servers combine with the VIDOS program for an efficient system solution.
VIDOS is a software package for operating, controlling and managing CCTV installations (such as surveillance systems) at remote locations. It runs under Microsoft Windows operating systems. It is primarily designed for decoding video, audio and control data received from a remote sender.
During operation of a unit with VIDOS, you will be offered many operating and configuration options. Please refer to the software documentation for more details.
