RS232/485 interface
Options for using the serial interface include transferring transparent data, controlling connected units or operating the unit with a terminal program. Depending on the setting, the serial interface uses the RS232 or RS422/485 standards. The standard that is used depends on the current configuration (see pages 60 and 104).
