To delete your own outgoing message and re-instate the pre-recorded outgoing message via the handset

Pick up the handset.

Press the UP or DOWN button until the display shows Answer Settings.

OK Press the OK option button.

Press the UP or DOWN button until the display shows Outgoing Message.

OK Press the OK option button.

Use the UP or DOWN button to select the outgoing message you want to delete, either: Answer Only or Answer and Record.

OK Press the OK option button.

The display will show Outgoing message, and the handset voice prompt will automatically announce the outgoing message to be deleted.

DEL Press the DEL option button

to delete it and re-instate the pre-recorded message.

The prompt will announce, “Your outgoing message is”, and the original pre-recorded

outgoing message will be played.

Press the CLEAR button until you return to the standby screen.

Note

You cannot delete the pre-recorded outgoing messages. If the current outgoing message selected is the pre- recorded message and you try and delete it, you will hear a beep and the pre- recorded message will be played to you.

To delete your own outgoing message and re-instate the pre-recorded outgoing message via the base unit

You can delete your personalised outgoing message and return to your Quartet 3500’s pre- recorded outgoing message.

First select the outgoing message you want to delete, see opposite column on this page.

Whilst your selected outgoing message is playing press the DELETE button on the base unit.

The message will stop playing and you will hear a short beep, then the default pre-recorded outgoing message.
