Call screening/
Call intercept
You can let your answering machine pick up a call, even if you are in. This allows you to identify your caller and decide whether to take the call.
Make sure the volume is set to an audible level, see page 37. Allow the incoming call to be answered by the answering machine as normal. You will hear the caller begin to leave
a message.
To screen a call via the handset (when the handset is off the base unit)
When your Quartet 3500

You can hear your caller begin to leave a message. The display will show Screening.
You can adjust the call screening volume using the UP or DOWN button.
