Printing on Fabric Sheets

Canon Fabric Sheet FS-101 comes with a booklet that describes special handling procedures. Be sure to read this booklet for special information on fabric sheets.

n• Do not use the fixing agent provided with the Canon Fabric Sheet FS-101. This agent is not necessary when printing with your unit.

Do not touch newly printed fabric sheets until the ink has dried completely. This takes about an hour.

Follow this procedure to load a fabric sheet in the multi-purpose tray:

1Make sure the paper thickness lever is set to e (right).

For details, 1 p. 5-6.

cDo not set the paper thickness lever while the unit is printing since this will cause problems.

2With the cloth side towards you and

the open end at the top, insert one fabric sheet into the multi-purpose tray q, and align the right edge of the sheet with the right side of the multi-purpose tray. Slide the paper guide snugly against the left edge of the sheet w.

3Your unit is now ready to print. Set your PC to print on the fabric sheet.

4When the fabric sheet is printed, let it dry for about an hour to allow the ink to dry completely.

5When dry, peel the film backing from the printed fabric sheet.
