Cancelling Automatic Redialling

Automatic redialling cannot be cancelled with the Stop button while the unit is waiting to redial.

Follow this procedure to cancel automatic redialling:

1Wait until the unit begins redialling.

2Press Stop.

•The unit asks you to confirm that you want to cancel.

DIALING

CANCEL? AYES #NO

YES=(A) NO=(#)

3Press T to cancel redialling.

•Redialling is not cancelled until you press T.

•If you change your mind and want to continue redialling, press #.

•The unit prints an ERROR TX REPORT. (1 p. 11-4)

nIf you want to cancel a transmission while the unit is waiting to redial, you will have to delete the document from memory. (1 p. 7-19)

Setting the Options for Automatic Redialling

You can set the following options for automatic redialling:

•Whether or not the unit redials automatically.

•The number of times the unit attempts to redial.

•The time interval between redialling attempts.

Follow this procedure to adjust the automatic redialling settings:

1 Press Function.

2 Press Data Registration.
