3 Open the upper cover.

4 Remove the white sponge from the rail cleaner. Dampen the sponge with some water, wring it out, then place it in the rail cleaner.

Note

z If the white sponge does not clean, reverse the sponge or replace it.

5 With the white sponge surface on the rail, place the rail cleaner on the right side of the carriage rail, then move the rail cleaner all the way to the left end of the carriage rail.
