7 With the ink ports pointing down and the label facing in the direction shown in the illustration below, insert the ink tank into the ink tank holder.

Important

zAlways make sure that the ink tank is set in the correct direction and that the color of the tank matches the slot. If the wrong color is inserted in a slot, the ink will mix incorrectly in the tubes and printhead, causing the printer to print the wrong colors.
