Battery (K-Series)

Table 1-8shows the specifications of the battery available from Chaparral.

Note: Outside these limits the battery life will be diminished.

If you must store the battery for a long time, you should take certain precautions to ensure the battery has sufficient charge when you return it to service. The recommended storage temperature is between +5oC to +25oC. Avoid temperature extremes exceeding -20oC or +40oC for any extended period of time. Exposure to extreme temperatures causes the battery to discharge at a faster rate and can take longer to take a full charge when it is returned to service. A new battery or fully discharged battery can take from four to eight hours or more to fully charge.
