This server includes a DIP switch on the I/O riser that you can use to recover from a corrupted BIOS. This section includes the following topics:

DIP Switch Location on the I/O Riser

The block of DIP switches is located on the I/O riser (see Figure 2-5). The default position for all switches is open (down).

The I/O riser is the removable card that includes the rear-panel serial and VGA connectors. See Figure 3-5for the location of the I/O riser in the server.
