Checking how much ﬁlm you have left!

To check the amount of remaining ﬁlm, press (FILM\REMAINING) while the unit is idle. The display indicates the approximate amount of remaining ﬁlm.

FILM E		F	When the ﬁlm indicator points to this position, the remaining ﬁlm will print up to
			25 pages of letter size documents. Prepare a new ﬁlm or ﬁlm cartridge for

			replacement.

Replacing the ﬁlm or ﬁlm cartridge!

When the unit detects the end of the ﬁlm, one of the following messages will be displayed.

FILM NEAR EMPTY The remaining ﬁlm prints approx. 15 letter size documents. Prepare a new ﬁlm or ﬁlm cartridge.

FILM EMPTY	The ﬁlm is empty. Install a new ﬁlm or ﬁlm cartridge.

1	Slide the front cover open lever forward to unlock
1	the front cover and lift to open.
2	Remove the ﬁlm cartridge.
	¡If you have purchased a ﬁlm cartridge (Model no.

KX-FA135) for replacement, skip to step 9. ¡To replace only the ﬁlm, go to step 3.

3	Unlock the four gears by (A) pulling the top side
	gears (blue and green gears) forward and (B)

pushing back the bottom side gears (green gears). Remove the used ﬁlm.

4 Remove the four gears from the used ﬁlm cores.

Caution:

¡The ﬁlm is not reusable. You can order a new ﬁlm for replacement through your nearest Panasonic dealer or call 1-800-332-5368.
