Receiving Faxes
Film/Paper save!
Use this feature if you wish to save film and recording paper when receiving two or more faxed pages. When this feature is ON, the unit will reduce documents to half their length and print out two pages of documents on one page. A boundary line will be printed out between the documents.
Important:
¡This feature will not work when the other party sends a document in fine resolution or other nonstandard resolutions.

Note:
¡When a reduced document is longer than the recording paper, it will be printed on two pages. The continuation will be printed on the next page and there may be wasted space. In this case, paper and film will not be saved. If you wish to fit the document onto one page, set this feature to off and program a suitable reduction rate for reception (see page 72).
¡When documents are longer than legal size, the unit will not print the next page of the document on the same page.
¡Paper and film will not be saved for a one page document and the last page of odd numbered documents (3, 5, 7 pages, etc.).
