Remove sawdustfrom the work area, including
inside the blade cover, frequently.
Remove sawdust from and clean the blade guards
frequently.
Clean plastic parts with a soft damp cloth.Do not
use any strongsolvents.

gasoline, petroleum-based products,penetrating
oils,etc. contact plastic parts.They contain
chemicalsthat candamage, weaken or destroy
plastic.
Check teethof anti-kickback pawls; sharpenwith
file if needed.
Regularly checkall nuts, bolts,screws; and cables
fortightness and condition.
MOTOR/ELECTRICAL
Frequentlyvacuum or blow out any sawdustfrom
thework areas.
A WARNING: Ifthe power cords are worn, cut, or
damaged in any way, havethem replaced
immediatelyby a qualifiedservicetechnician at a
Searsstore or repaircenter. Failure to do so
couldresult in sedous personal injury.
