42 RACADM Subcommand Details
cmcchangeover NOTE: To use this subcommand, you must have Administrator privilege.
NOTE: This command is valid only in redundant CMC environments. For more
information, see the "Understanding the Redundant CMC Environment" section of
the Dell Chassis Management Controller User Guide.
Synopsis
racadm cmcchangeover
Output
CMC failover initiated successfully.
config NOTE: To use this subcommand, you must have Log In iDRAC permission.
Subcommand Description
cmcchangeover Changes the state of the CMC from active to standby, or
vice versa, in a redundant CMC configuration. This
subcommand is useful for remote debugging or testing
purposes.
Subcommand Description
config This subcommand allows you to set iDRAC6
configuration parameters individually or to batch them as
part of a configuration file. If the data is different, that
iDRAC6 object is written with the new value.
