This can be selected when playing DTS sources.

z3 This can be selected when “Speaker Config.” – “S.Back” (vpage 49) is set to “2sp”.

• This can also be set by pressing STANDARD.

• If the source being played contains a surround back signal, the decoder type is automatically selected by the AFDM function. Set “AFDM” to “OFF” to switch to your preferred decoder.

NOTE

If the setting in “Speaker Config.” – “S.Back” (vpage 49) is “None”, “S.Back” is not displayed.

Front HeightON : Audio is output from the front height speaker.

Determine whether to use OFF : Audio is not output from the front height speaker.

“Front Height” cannot be set if the HD Audio source being played includes a front height channel. In this case, the Front height channel is played back without decoding in PLgz mode, using the input signal.

Height Gain

Low : Reduce the front height channel volume.

Subwoofer

ON : The subwoofer is used.

Tone Control

ON : Allow tone adjustment (bass, treble).

“Tone Control” can be set when “Dynamic EQ” (vpage 46) is set to “OFF”.

NOTE

“Tone Control” settings are not reflected to ZONE2.

The tone cannot be adjusted in the direct mode.

Bass

–6dB – +6dB (0dB)

Adjust low frequency range

“Bass” can be set when “Tone Control” is set to “ON”.
